Note also the “pits” (arrows) in the surfaces of these joints not only in the right AP but in the intervertebral joint as well (blue). The intervertebral joint is the main connection between the vertebrae by way of a disc. Sadly, in Jersey, the disc was degenerating or missing altogether between C6 and C7 = bone on bone.
